CED – ADEE REINFORCE THEIR COOPERATION ON ETHICS

CED President Dr. Marco Landi and the President of the ADEE Prof. Dr. Corrado Paganelli met in Brussels. They discussed different areas of collaboration between the two organisations. Ethics was singled out as an issue of particular importance.

CED publishes 2014 annual report

On 4 June 2015, the CED published its annual report for 2014. Entitled “CED in an election year”, the report summarises CED activities in the context of European Parliament elections and of the new European Commission. Political resolutions adopted in 2014 and the achievements of CED working groups and task forces are also presented.

Joint statement of the European sectoral professions on Directive 2005/36/EC

On 7 November 2011, the European umbrella organisations of the seven sectoral professions (dentists, doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, veterinarians and architects) issued a joint statement on the modernisation of the Professional Qualifications Directive (2005/36/EC), setting out the fundamental principles the Commission should take into consideration when preparing the legislative proposal for the modernisation.
