The Council of European Dentists is concerned about the growth of third party payers in the field of provision of dental care and treatment and its implications for oral health policy. The CED has therefore passed a resolution that sets out some important principles and policies which prioritise the welfare of patients and respect the ethical and professional responsibilities and rights of the dental profession.
